Singapore art
We only had a morning left to us in Singapore so we visited the National Art Galllery.
The gallery touts itself as having the largest collection of modern Asian art. That may be the case, but if so either no one else has any or they’ve hidden it well. The art we did see was interesting as an insight into Asia, but I’ve never been in a gallery so poorly designed and hard to navigate. It’s a lovely old building that was once the Supreme Court, but seriously we spent a couple of hours wandering round in circles debating if there was more to see or if we’d ever find our way out.

When we did escape we popped over to the Fort Canning park for some relaxation amongst the greenery. There’s a lovely little garden that recreates an ancient Javanese place garden where, and this was a highlight of the day, we saw a beautiful dragonfly.

We had enough time for a swim and a bit of lounging by the pool before heading to the airport for a meal in the first class lounge. Tough life.
Tough life agree. Love
