500-year old room and a tasty lunch

Christmas lunch was in a 500-year old room that was once the guild hall for ships masters. Ship models floated from exposed beams supported by carved pillars. We sat at long benches and had a fabulous meal with twists around traditional German food. There was a lot of food.

We broke up the meal with a little bit of Taskmaster. Each participant having been talked with bringing the most interesting thing they could buy for less that 10 euros in the Christmas market. Jennifer won with a vial of dragons blood.

A lovely walk along the river made up only slightly for the enormous calorie intake.
