Snowstorm
Lea left us this morning to fly home, leaving us all a bit bereft.
Stockholm’s Town Hall is mostly famous as the site of the Nobel Prize dinner. The Spanish family have a friend who now lives here and she was keen to see the building. We did a tour which was interesting, but the huge snowball fight in the courtyard was even more fun (although not a Nobel Peace Prize event).
We then had a huge, and rather great, Japanese meal, before saying goodbye to the Spaniards. Our little group fragmented seriously today.

Skye, Jennifer and I walked home through the old town and through an increasingly intense snowstorm (Minerva caught the tube). I know snow can be a pain to live with, but when visiting it’s just so beautiful.

in the evening we went up the Katerina Lift for a view of the town. The lift is literally a lift up a sort of bridge. to It was extremely cold, but lovely. That set us up for a pleasant evening of cocktails and snacks in a local French-themed bar.
