Almost a tourist

So as Evan has already said, my mum is much better, still very tired, but back in her care facility and being looked after very well by the staff and her friends there. Bob and I visited her twice today and the second time she was well enough to walk to the room where you can see the Harbour Bridge (about 50m, I reckon), which she enjoyed.

Poor Bob is putting in close to a full day’s work each [Sydney] evening (day time spanish time) so yesterday evening I braved the rain to see Vivid – something I’ve missed for the last few years. I always enjoy it, and it was a lot of fun wandering around by myself. I managed to see most of the highights until a sign saying “severe storm coming, find shelter” sent me scurrying back to Barangaroo metro station and back to the apartment that Bob and I are sharing.
