Madrid and the end of gerunding
So Valencia was great. I learnt a lot in school and I love the city.
So Valencia was great. I learnt a lot in school and I love the city. Valencia may be the perfect combination of being not too big, yet big enough there these is a lot to do. It easy to get around and very beautiful. I met some great, fun people.
So it was with a bit a pang of sadness this morning that I walked to the train station and hopped on the high-speed train to Madrid. As I write the Spanish countryside is sliding past the window at 280kmh as I head back for a couple of days with the family and then the flight home.
Hoping family and all are safe with the bushfires. Watching news with sadness and a terrible sense of geography despite your excellent descriptive narratives over the years. Love to Bob…
Only sign of the fires here is a slight smell of smoke – more yesterday than today.
