Hotel Adria, Munich

We stayed at the Hotel Adria, Munich in a very small family room (one double bed, two singles with very little spare floor space) for two nights to go to the Christmas Markets. The location was excellent, with a short walk to the Englischer Garten, and a longer, very scenic walk via two Christmas markets to the main ones in MarienPlatz.

We got a new renovated room, which was very nicely done laid out, and made excellent use of the space. It was, however, pretty small, for four of us, and I wouldn’t want to stay much longer than two nights.

If you are looking at a very slickly put together hotel in a nice part of town for a good price, this is worthwhile. The service isn’t five star, and the rooms aren’t, either, but they are clean, neat, and the service is helpful, posting us a package that we accidentally left behind on the window sill.

We didn’t have breakfast, on the recommendation of others on this site, but there a several great breadshops nearby that do excellent croissants, and other bread products.
