Mosoq Inn, Puno, Peru

We stayed here in September.

The buffet breakfast had a wide range of foods, and especially plain food in case of altitude sickness. The family room had three beds, and had lots of space compared with the average family room. The staff were very helpful, especially when all of us were sick with altitude sickness.

We got a taxi ride and a tour of Silustani from the airport with Yoshiro, which was excellent. The bathroom is well designed with a brilliant shower. The hot water never ran out, even for four of us.

The room was a bit noisy, with people coming and going in the hotel quite late. There is almost constant traffic outside during the day, but the traffic noise inside the room is quite light.

There aren’t many power points in the room which was a nuisance for a family like ours with lots of electronics. The wifi has a relatively good connection, from the room, without having to go into the lobby.

We really liked this hotel especially the staff who were very friendly and helpful.
