Larapinta 11: Ormiston Gorge to Finke River

Today was mercifully easy. We started at Ormiston and walked to Finke River. The terrain was easy and, truth be told, not wildly interesting or different.

We finished the hike at the Finke River, which is, interestingly, the oldest river in the World. It is also where we are camped for the night.

After setting up camp we drove around to Ormiston Gorge and had showers in the little shop complex there. Yes, showers with running water and they were a joy.

We walked 11km today.
