Touring

My project for today was a walking tour of Pamplona in Spanish.

I learnt a vast amount about Pamplona past and present. My real regret now is that I didn’t do the tour before Jennifer and Tiny visited.

The one Australian thing I learnt is that many Australians get ripped off by buying tickets to run with the bulls – no tickets are required – and then get confused when they are turned away by the police in spite of their, useless, wrist-bands, but because they are wearing shorts.

There were only 7 of us on the tour and the guide warned me he would be talking fast. So I was thrilled when I understood almost everything. And I walked away without a headache from 2 hours of concentrating.
