Balconies
As I start my fourth week in Pamplona I have dug deep into local activities for my daily projects. Yesterday was the 602nd annual market, which came compete with lots of people dressed up as knights, Vikings and so on. Today was all about balconies.
I deeply love the way Spanish towns have medium-density housing; five or six stories of apartments, doors right on the street, and little balconies allowing for fresh air and a view. Apart from being a sensible way of fitting many people in and dealing with the heat, it just looks great. So this afternoon I wandered about appreciating the balconies of Pamplona.

Of course the downside of the design is those top apartments are a long way up. The top windows on the green building in the photo below are mine.
