Picu Urriellu

The iconic picture of the Picos de Europa is the Picu Urriellu, the limestone tower in the Central Massif. Our walk in the Western Massif took us to lovely views of the peak.

The big difference with the walk today was the cliff edges. They were high, but I managed to ignore them while walking along them. Otherwise it was once again beautiful mountain views and green valleys – and the cows.

Back in Cangas de Onis I had a lovely cooling swim underneath the Roman Bridge.
