Tourist in my own city

For my final week of travel before Evan got back, I stayed in an apartment in the heart of Sydney – about 200m from the Town Hall.

Making the most of my central spot, I managed to visit two art galleries, caught up with three different groups of friends for drinks or dinner, queued for one of the current triendiest noodle places in chinatown, and (almost) saw two plays (one was cancelled at the last minute, which made the pre theatre dinner much more leisurely!).

I do find I appreciate Sydney a lot more after I’ve been away, it is a pretty amazing city, and I’m lucky to live in it. On a beautiful sunny winters day, it’s pretty hard to beat.

And now Evan is home to admire it with me.
